Centralized user management
Employees with contracts for indefinite and definite periods, contractors working under a contracting agreement, outsourced colleagues, suppliers, clients – access to the IT system needs to be provided for all of these people. Quickly, effectively, securely, and in a way that can be audited. Even at first glance, the task does not seem simple, but if we take into consideration how many IT systems operate within a company these days, it quickly becomes apparent that without well regulated processes and supporting technology, several of the components listed above could suffer damage. IDM (Identity Management) system is a central applications which is able to manage accounts and access rights through their complete life-cycle by using workflows. As part of the service, kancellár.hu:
Security Hardening and Monitoring
Survey, reinforcement and later maintenance of the security of the application server(s) used throughout the Client's processes. Besides already operating servers, this may also extend to ones to be installed in the future.
The method contains two phases:
Phase I: Assessment of the situation and the development of the expected security level
Phase II: Level Maintenance
Multi-Level Log Server The purpose of the log server is to ensure the secure centralised storage of the log entries produced throughout a company, as well as their use in the course of possible procedures as proofs. This requires the security of the followings:
Borderline Protection, Intrusion Alarm Systems and Content Filtering
The primary function of the borderline protection system is the protection against intrusions from the outside world. Based on pre-defined rules, it makes decision on whether to allow, prohibit the communication, or take other special measures. These measures are logged on the bases of the policies in place. URL, content and virus filtering are implemented in a transparent way, in cooperation with the firewall. The IDS system catches all packets occurring throughout the network, analyses them, and then decides, based on the pre-defined rules, whether the packet analysed is part of the normal operation, or it is some traffic generated by irregular operation, intrusion, virus infection, etc. If the packet is found inappropriate, the system posts and alarm notification according to the procedures defined.
